Epic Romeo and Juliet Essay

 Essay

There is importance to the Epic Romeo and Juliet Project. Doing this project instead of the usual traditional way of teaching Romeo and Juliet is better for many reasons.  It got students more involved, it taught teamwork, it also taught organization, and it was memorable. Although reading a book and taking notes can be a good way to learn, but making a project out of it is a better way to learn.

            The Epic Romeo and Juliet Project made the students get very involved in the unit. Because of the different jobs that are assigned everyone needs to be involved. Because each person had their own job they were could get more involved in that job and learn more.  The separate jobs also required in-depth reading. The actors had to do a lot of in-depth reading to get their lines down and do a good acting job. Actors could also know more about the play by learning their character. The study needed to create the project means the students are doing more reading. This is a more fun and involving way to learn Romeo and Juliet.  Not only did this project get students more involved, it also taught teamwork.

            The Epic Romeo and Juliet project taught teamwork. Everyone had to work together to complete it. There were a lot of things that needed to be done. One person could not do it all alone. People had to exchange ideas and get the opinions of others. It also led to a broader experience. The group work prepared students for the future. All of the people that worked on the project had to collaborate and talk to each other, so it also taught other social skills. Along with teaching Teamwork, The Romeo and Juliet project also taught organization skills.

            All of the different aspects of the project required a lot of organization.  Directors had to organize everyone and had the most responsibility. They had to make sure that everyone was in the right places at the right times.  The project taught leadership to the people that were associated in it.  Some people were in charge of other people. They had to organize things and get work done quickly. It also taught individual freedom.  All of the things people did in the project not only taught leadership skills. It was also memorable.

            All of the things people did made lasting memories. People made many friends. School is much more than tests and studying. Everyone had fun with each other. People made friendships and met other people. Without the project, everyone would have just read the play and wrote a paper on it. The project made a lasting impression on some people. This is more memorable than sitting and taking notes because everyone had fun.

            The Epic Romeo and Juliet project was very important. It made students more involved in the Romeo and Juliet play. It taught teamwork, it also taught organization, and it was memorable. Although reading a book and taking notes can be a good way to learn, but making a project out of it is a better way to learn.

           

           

           

The final post

This is the last post for the project. I was an actor. I played Gregory. It was a lot of fun to have a role in the movie. It will be very exciting to see it when it is finished. I hope that it all turns out well. I think the most fun part was experiencing the filming process. It was also fun working with the other people.

Apparently scene 3 vanished from the camera. I hope that we will be able to re-film in time. I think the play will still be good though. It is going to be fun to see the project when it is finished. I hope everything works out. It still has been fun making it.

It is April 6th. I am prettymuch finished with all of my acting related work. I might make a glog. The play is going to turn out well. It's been a lot fun. I hope i get a good grade.

The project seems like it is going to be good. It has been fun to be an actor. The filming for each scene takes a while though. In the end it is still fun though.I still might have to be in some scenes to be in the background. I'm also going to try and be an extra. The project has been a lot of fun.

3-29-11

I finsished my big acting part. We did it last Saturday. I was also an extra in the party scene. It was pretty fun having an acting part. I think I am going to be an extra when I can. I hope the movie turns out well. It has been a lot of fun.

This my fourth post. We are filming the thirdscene and the second scene today. We are filming the first and the fourth scene tomorrow. All of my lines are in the first scene. I have most of them memorized. I am kind of nervous to film. I think it will be fun though. I hope the movie turns out well.
